Diamonds -

Why? Was never the right question
Truth stands open to those without intention
It’s unraveling goes to the ends of mention
Experiences reveal the stairs to ascension

Shrouds of darkness turn up the heat to immeasurable rage
Your heart beats against your ribs like a beast against a cage
The walls show brilliance when you step back to disengage
Sharable wisdoms hold meaning which cascade

They are gems from suffering like diamonds did

The trials of life
The test of time
The tempt of strife
The light of mine

Suffering like diamonds did

Molten chaos once brimmed from the hands
Where refined knowledge now stands
Veins surge with the power to change lands
Magic casts its whispering borderlands

The Unknown borders all that's familiar
Hunger is born where fears were
Eyes understand when anticipation will stir
Agony withstands a memory’s blur

Suffering like diamonds did

The roll of dice
The touch of divine
The tip of a knife
The edge of fine

Suffering like diamonds did

“Why? Was never the right question
Truth stands open to those without intention
It’s unraveling goes to the ends of mention
Experiences reveal the stairs to ascension”

Meaning:

When you are suffering, whether it be the loss of a loved one or a permanent injury or something else, you do not have any answers. The question “Why?” goes unanswered. This disrupts your relationship to hope and faith and any other transparent optimisms. The meaning of the suffering is unknown. Sometimes horrible things happen. No happy ending. No justification.

“Why” is indeed not the right question. It just opens the mouth of a wound. The mouth goes unfed for as long as it is open.

Pain is a spiral. It’s paths lead downward. You can be consumed by the suffering. When asking “Why?” it amplifies suffering.

However, a response to suffering that leads to progress is gratitude. Gratitude for the suffering.

Your thoughts can be clouded, thinking over and over again memories that have been or could have been. When you remove the cloud, remove bias, remove behaving a certain way as to hide yourself from the outside world, remove the parts of you that aren’t you, then you can align yourself with progressing through the experience of suffering. You ascend by unraveling the truth and then you can speak it. Your experience is a truth. You can speak about the time you spent mentally ill. It is a truth. It is observation.

With every part of your experience, you can start to see the meaning in suffering.

“Shrouds of darkness turn up the heat to immeasurable rage
Your heart beats against your ribs like a beast against a cage
Sharable wisdoms hold meaning which cascade
The walls show brilliance when you step back to disengage”

Meaning:

Suffering can be seen as being in hell symbolically. When things are bad, it is common to want an escape. You can yearn to die, and it can logically be the only things that makes sense at the time. You can yearn to vanish, diminishing every trace of you. You can yearn to move to a remote island where no one can ever go.

The meaning in your suffering is not immediately apparent. At first, suffering seems like it’s an obstacle. You stand too close to it to even see anything other than what’s in front of you. When you take a step back, something becomes apparent. You realize the bigger picture. The brilliance of the walls. The walls were actually a brilliant painting.

Suffering helps gain sharable wisdom, which are gems with cascading meaning.

“They are gems from suffering like diamonds did”

Meaning:

Diamonds are created under the greatest of pressures and high temperatures; a metaphor for the meaning in suffering. You become more than you are.

“The trials of life
The test of time
The tempt of strife
The light of mine”

Meaning:

The experience of life. Life has it’s trials. Time has its tests. It is tempting to grow bitter. Every human possesses a light which can die out or grow.

“Suffering like diamonds did

Meaning:

Before a diamond is a diamond, it metaphorically suffers.

Molten chaos once brimmed from the hands
Where refined knowledge now stands
Veins surge with the power to change lands
Magic casts its whispering borderlands”

Meaning:

Molten chaos is the raw form of the pain of suffering. It is the adolescent state of diamonds. It is most benefiting in the long run to take on the suffering, knowing the burning, painful, molten chaos will refine into gems. Refined knowledge. Sharable wisdom.

The knowledge you earn from the suffering gives you power. You can build. Happiness is something you build. It is not something you find. Dreams are something you build. Meaningful love is something you build. There is so much out there you can build. In building, you create new areas around the space you take up.

“The Unknown borders all that's familiar
Hunger is born where fears were
Eyes understand when anticipation will stir
Agony withstands a memory’s blur”

Meaning:

People tend to fear the unknown. Everything you are familiar with about you and your world is surrounded by the unknown. The unknown is the borderlands. It whispers. Whispering is symbolic for a presence which could go neglected.

But now you are hungry for facing your fears because you understand it brings suffering. Through suffering you gain diamonds. You become more than you are.

Staring into the unknown, the abyss, creates anticipation. You now say ‘bring it on’ knowing that what the world has to throw at you will make you become more than you are. You are more willing to voluntarily take on suffering.

Agony leaves its mark on your memory. It can be seen clearly. It withstands being blurred away into figments. Despite remembering what you went through, you still have gratitude for it and know you will have gratitude for more because of who you become.

“Suffering like diamonds did

The roll of dice
The touch of divine
The tip of a knife
The edge of fine”

Meaning:

The experience of life. Take risks. Maybe you’ll get lucky. There will be the temptation of ending it all. Resist being pushed over the edge.

“Suffering like diamonds did”

Overall meaning:

If you face the suffering of your world, you begin to see the meaning in it.

Although its not immediately apparent, there is something you gain from the experience. So don't lose sight of the experience.

With what you gain, you become more than you are and solidify the meaning in suffering. You can build. You build happiness amoung other things.

Surrounded by the unknown, eyes shine with anticipation to enter the unknown which borders the land where all is familiar. A hunger is born from the knowledge that you become more than you are through suffering.

Suffering helps gain sharable wisdom (at least) which are gems with cascading meaning. Diamonds are created under the greatest of pressures and high temperatures; a metaphor for the meaning in suffering. You become more than you are.
